环保英语作文篇3
Since we have to talk about low carbon, first of all we have to know: what is low carbon? As the name implies, low carbon mainly refers to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions. My understanding of low-carbon is in their daily lives from their own start, from small things to start, to maximize energy conservation, the greatest possible reduction of all available consumption.
Low-carbon is actually very simple, we just choose the right method can easily become a "low-carbon family" of the. In life we are inseparable from the same thing - electricity. Our home washing machines, televisions, refrigerators, electric lights, and our "almost every home" computer. Speaking of computers, we all know. But do you have to do low-carbon use of the computer? When you turn off the computer every time, have you ever thought of pulling the computer's plug. We do not care about these little things in life, but you know your computer in the end how much power you consume every day? The computer is also sleep in the state of energy, about 7.5 watts, it is puzzling in the WindowsXp into standby power consumption reached 51.48 watts! Note that the motherboard at this time in order to protect the data, still consume no small power; even off the machine, as long as the plug has not pulled, the computer still have energy consumption, about 4.81 watts! Computer socket, a year to waste about 146 kWh. In the standby state, the device does not cut off the power, nor run the main function, looks like a shutdown, in fact there are a small number of electrical wiring and components in the live work, this state of power consumption is standby power consumption The Like the remote control and intelligent switches and so on to make appliances with more smoothly at the same time, but also to the electrical added a "standby power consumption."
Choose low-carbon life, in fact, very simple: save every drop of water, every electricity. From our side bit by bit little things to start, to do a small green guards, a person's strength may be small, but everyone with the action, the results will not be disappointing. Please remember that whenever and wherever you want to reduce the energy consumed when you live and work, you are the "low carbon family"
