爱好
范文
My Hobby
I am a 15-year-old student in junior Grade 3. Though I am occupied with my study, I would like to spend time on my hobbies, such as playing the piano, surfing the Internet.
One of my favorite hobbies is reading. Reading has been in my life for many years, since I began to learn characters. It can not only kill the time, but also, more important, help improve my comprehension ability. When reading, I can learn a lot. Reading Shakespear's works, I know how Hamlet looks like. Reading Socrates, I can see how great ancient Greek philosophers are. Reading Lu Xun, I come back to the old time of China.

范文
Dear Tommy,
I'm glad to know you will come to Beijing.
Beijing, the capital of China, is one of the largest cities in the world. There are many places of interest, such as the Summer Palace, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. All of them are beautiful and well-known to the world. Great changes have taken place in Beijing since we successfully held the 20xx 0lympic Games.
Now, people pay more attention to the environment. More trees and flowers have been planted. For the traffic, it is very convenient for people to travel around Beijing, because several new subway lines have been built. If you come to Beijing, you will find people here are very friendly and helpful. What's more, a lot of people can speak English. Beijing is really an attractive city with a long history.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours,
Li Lei

Advice on following traffic rules 遵守交通规则
It is very important for us to know about the traffic rules. Everyone knows that red light means ‘stop’ and you are not allowed to go. You can walk across the road safely when green light is on. One more thing is yellow light. Some people always forget it. Usually when the green light off, yellow light will be on, please be careful because red light will be on in a few seconds. So you must wait for a while patiently.
Here are some useful suggestions for following traffic rules. Firstly, we should follow the traffic lights and cannot break the traffic rules. Secondly, we had better remember the principle “slowly, look left and right side, go across finally”. Last but not least, (最后一条也是最重要的一条)do not forget that it is rather dangerous to play on the street. If everybody follows the traffic rules we will have a happy life in the future.

my hero
My hero she is, and she loves me, as all other mothers would their children. I remember the time when I was struck on my bed by severe illness, and she used to pick up the coursework for me, journeying from her workplace to school, from school to home. My tears nearly ran out of control when I saw bruises on her knees. She got thoses bruises when retrieving my homework. I feel regret for having said nothing to her; an adolescent sense of rebellion kept me silent. Perhaps to others my mother is merely an ordinary hairdresser and stylist, but she is of the most beautiful and elegent style in my mind.
