love always goes by us again and again, but it isn’t taken notice of all the time. therefore, we always complain that we lack love. on the contrary, love surrounds us and never leaves. it is because of our carelessness that we ignore the existence of love. the love which isn’t taken notice of is very lamentable, but the person who doesn’t take notice of others’ love is even more lamentable. love always likes to play hide-and-seek with us, which will change into various forms from time to time. as a matter of fact, love exists everywhere. a warm greeting between classmates is a form of love, a sweet smile between teachers and students is also a form of love, and in particular, a thorough care between fathers and sons is a form of love. in a word, what we lack isn’t the love, but a cautious heart to observe.
i haven’t seen my father for a long time since i went to the high school. by accident, once, my father just went past my school and came to see me. seeing my father at school, i was really happy. i rushed into my father’s hug for the excitement in my heart as soon as i saw him. gradually, i found some obvious changes on my father. i concentrated my attention on my father's face. his face got sunburnt terribly, and it was so dark. it was telling me that my father worked under the burning sun every day. and lots of grey hairs grew on my father’s head and some deep furrows came to my father’s forehead. besides, his hands got much rougher. my father seemed to get a lot older in a short time when i studied at high school. my expensive tuition must bother my father so much that he worked as hardworking as an ox. he must work in the factory day and night. thinking this, my tears had rolled down. finally, my father gave me some money. when he was to leave, he asked me whether it was enough for me. this time i no longer had courage to answer “ no!” as usual and nodded my head. seeing his lanky silhouette disappearing in the distance, my tears rolled down again.
what my father said always appear in my mind. the words are meaningful, the words are realistic, and the words are true! "you born into a farming family, your only out-way is to study well." "someone looks down upon you, but i will believe in you forever. so don't be afraid. even if the people around the world don't trust you, i will never. so you must believe in yourself, and don't care about what others said." yes, everyone may lose faith in me, but my father and my family will never, because they love me in their heart.
i know what my father has done is just for me. this is a kind of simple and pure love which my father gives to me. so moved was i by what my father have done that i will try my best to do what i should do to repay him.
love begins with and ends with no words. and love can’t be shown out by what you have said, but to be shown out by what you have done. as an old saying goes, actions speak louder than saying. however, it is in this way that my father is giving love to me all the time. so he explains the love to me incisively and vividly by his actions. in my eyes, he is an angel of love, bruiting his love to me.
love is a wisp of sunshine, which is to brighten the front road of us. love is a bag of candies, which is to sweeten our heart instead of our mouth. love is a pen, which is to write down your unlimited and wonderful life in your limited time. only when you take effective actions can you annotate the true meaning of love completely. to discover others’ love, to look for others’ love and to deliver the love to another will make the society and the world full of happiness and warmth and get much more harmonious. if so, the goal of building harmonious society won’t be in the distance any longer. and love will be handed down from generation to generation. in other words, love is a timeless theme. love will wake up everything on the earth.
