20xx年高考英语作文素材1：A Simple Life
The movie A Simple Life is directed by the famous directress Ann Hui(许鞍华). The leading roles are Andy Lauand Deanie Ip(叶德娴).The movie tells us a heart-warming story between the master Roger and his old servant Tao Jie. Tao Jie has worked for Roger’s family for totally sixty years, but now she is old and seriously ill. Roger is busy in working and he feels quite at a loss. Roger has to send Tao Jie to the home for the elderly. When he is free, he often goes to visit Tao Jie and takes her to participate in some activities. The relationship between them is better and better. This movie is successful because of the good performance of Andy Lau and Deanie Ip. I am sure people will be moved by this movie.
March 12th is Tree Planting Day. This year our school bought enough trees before that day . On that day , we didn't had classes . The teachers and our classmates planted trees around our school.
We began to planted trees as soon as we got to school . Some students dug the holes . Some students put the trees into the holes. Some students put the earth back to the holes. Then we pushed the earth hard with our feet . At last we watered the trees as much as possible.
From then on we looked after the trees carefully and the trees grew very well . It made our shcool more beautiful .And How happy we are !
Dear editor,
I’m writing to tell you about the discussion we have had about whether an entrance fee should be charged for parks. Sixty percent of my schoolmates are for the idea that an entrance fee should not be forced on the public. They believe parks are the place where the public enjoy themselves at their leisure. They think that a gate and walls are to be built if an entrance fee is to be charged. The city will not look so beautiful as it should have. Forty percent of my schoolmates are for the idea that an entrance fee is OK, but it shouldn’t be out of control. Entrance fee can be used to pay the gardeners and buy new types of flowers and trees. For myself, I’d like to say that if we all work hard to build our city into a flower garden, who cares about the entrance fee for parks?
Yours truly,
Li Hua
