Different people have different ambitions. When children study at school, they already have their own ideals. Stone want to be engineers or doctors in the future. Others want to be artists or businessmen. Still others want to be teachers or lawyers. But few want to be farmers.
Unlike most people, I choose to be a farmer in the future and make contributions to development of agriculture. Agriculture is essential to the national economy and the people's livelihood. Without it there won't be grains on which people survive. Nevertheless, farmers are ignored, even looked down upon by urban people. I determine to challenge the traditional idea and contribute to changing this situation.
However, lt is not easy to he a modern farmer in the 21st century. A modern farmer must be equipped with a variety of knowledge such as chemlstry, biology and meteorology. Therefore, I must study conscientiously from now on so that I can get the chance to study as a postgraduate in an agricultural university.
I believe only a man with scientific knowledge can meet the challenge of the 21st century and assume the task of modernizing agriculture.

However, my ideal job is teaching. Firstly, I’m told that teachers have a high income.
With the high income, I can open a training school to help the children in poor families with their education.
Secondly, teachers always have summer and winter holidays, thus I will have more free time to relax myself.
More importantly, teachers are angels to students, who can pass on the knowledge to students as well as help them develop their hobbies and interests.
I can’t imagine how happy I will feel when I see my students become elites.
In order to be a qualified teacher, I should read more books to acquire more knowledge, and train my patience and improve my communication and handwriting abilities.

Every coin has two sides. The two choices have their own advantages and disadvantages, but I support that a high-paying job with long hours is better.
One of the reasons is that I am a workaholic, a high-paying job with long hours can afford more opportunities to make great progress to challenge myself, and the success will satisfy my sense of achievement to a great extent. And what I want to emphasize is that this is an economic society which requires me to see the reality clearly.
A high-paying job means a high position in the society, so I can get more respect and admiration from others.
I should also take on the responsibility of providing a better life for my family, such as a big house, a private car, plenty of food, beautiful clothes, the best education and medical treatments and so on.
What’s more, in the long run, with a high paying-job, I’ll save up much money for the life in the future, in other words, even though I retire in old age, I can still give my family an easy life.
Last but not least, we are young now, if we don’t work hard, what do we live for when we get old in the future?
In short, when we are young and strong, working hard is the best choice. Cheer up! Come on!
