英语口语大赛演讲稿
my home， my heaven
dongying，my home，is located in the vast delta plains of the majestic yellow river. there are reeds undulating on the golden beach and varies birds soaring over the wetlands. dongying is a city of oil as well as ecology. the roaring from the running drillings and the sweat on the faces of oil workers witnessed the development of this land.
as an out-and-out child of dongying，i have lived here for 20 years. i didn’t experience the full glorious history of the land，but the customs and the spirits have branded in my heart. i could not erase them, for i am a daughter of an oil worker.
the sincere and hard-working people here taught me what is perseverance; our mother river and the magnificent bohai sea show me catholicity; the elegant swans and the azure sky give us the best instance for harmony between human beings and the environment. actually，all of them are the fortune for my whole life.
it is not difficult for us to find immense differences happened in dongying, especially after the reforming and opening-up. when i was a volunteer of the china-dongying international petroleum equipment & technology exhibition in XX，what shocked me is the rapid growth of this land. with the increasing development of social modernization，we aim not only at efficiently improving people’s life，but in the success of constructing an affluent society and thoroughly applying the scientific outlook on development in recent decades. in order to achieve these goals，it will be our responsibilities to make contributions. as a student at college，the greatest contribution i can do is to keep the determination，endeavor to study scientific knowledge and keep the sense of historical responsibility. in this way，i believe，the future of dongying will be better.
born here and living here，i would like to quote the famous chinese poet ai qing’s lyrics to express myself： “why are the tears always in my eyes? that's because i love the land so much.”
我的家，我的天堂
我的家—东营，坐落在广袤的黄河三角洲平原上。金滩上起伏芦浪，湿地里百鸟翱翔。东营，不仅仅是生态之城，更是石油之城。隆隆轰鸣运作的机井声和石油工人脸上的汗水见证了这片土地的成长。作为一个地地道道的东营人，我在这片土地上生活了20年。虽然我没有经历过东营的峥嵘历程，但是东营的风情和精神早已印在我的心中，久久不能磨灭。因为我是一名石油工人的女儿。这里勤劳朴实的人民教会了我何为坚忍不拔；浩淼的渤海和母亲河让我感受了何为博大；优雅的天鹅和蔚蓝的天空则让我看到了人与自然的和谐。这些，都是我一生的财富。我们不难发现东营所发生的翻天覆地的变化，尤其是改革开放之后的变化。XX年，当我成为中国（东营）国际石油技术与装备展览会的一名志愿者时，东营的蓬勃发展触动了我。随着东营的现代化发展，我们的目标也不仅局限于提高人民的生活水平上，近几十年来，我们还贯彻落实科学发展观并进一步建设着小康社会。东营繁荣，匹夫有责。作为一名在校大学生，我所能做的最大贡献莫过于下定决心、努力学习并保持历史责任感。这样，我坚信，东营的明天将会更加美好！生于斯，长于斯。中国著名诗人艾青的话足以表达我的感情：“为什么我的眼中常含泪水，因为我对这土地爱得深沉。”
