假期趣事英语作文篇1
During the National Day holiday, I went on a trip to the village with my parents.
We took more than four hours to get to the village, and the guide gave each of us a red hat. Then we headed for the inside of the village. The village is beautiful, there are mountains, there is water, there are fish in the water, there are frogs in the stone crevices. At the fish palace, I saw the fish swimming in clear water.
The trees in the woods are strange. I found two trees to cuddle up to each other so tightly that their roots of mixed together long, about three meters in the trunk of the two trees and wrapped around each other, and then long straight up. "Just call them 'sister trees'," said the aunt who was with us. Some of the tree roots are almost out, but the trees are still flourishing.
The most dangerous thing is the waterfall. The iron staircase leading to the cave was almost straight down, and the right side of the ladder was suspended, and I climbed very carefully. It was raining and I held the railings on both sides of the iron ladder to feel cold, but I managed to climb to the cave. Then my mother praised me and said I was brave. My mother said she was afraid when she climbed the escalator, but I showed no sign of timidity.
When we got down from the cave, we ate something, and then we went down the line back to the exit. There mom and dad bought some chestnuts and kiwifruit. The tour guide was pushing us back to the bus, so we got in the car and came back.
I felt very happy on this trip. Friends, did you travel there during the holidays? Share your experiences and happiness with you.
