Today is the Dragon Boat Festival, the Dragon Boat Festival, believe that everyone is familiar with the word, so, do you know the origin of the Dragon Boat Festival? Why is the Dragon Boat Festival eating zongzi and racing dragon boats? If you don't know, just listen to me.
The Dragon Boat Festival is to eat zongzi, so why eat zongzi? No other days? What do you want to do with zongzi? You don't know. Here I want to tell a story: ancient times, during the war, there was a great poet called qu yuan. Qu yuan, like the king of wei, provided a lot of contrivment. Qu yuan felt very sad, thinking he could not help the country, he jumped the river and died. Eating zongzi is the patriotism of qu yuan to commemorate the ancient times, on this day, everybody will be rice dumplings into the river and let the fish to eat qu yuan's body, to eat dumplings. Protection of qu yuan's body is not eaten.
初中端午节英语作文篇3
There are many customs in the Dragon Boat Festival, such as eating brown seeds and racing dragon boats. In my mother's hometown, sanming, there is a "dogwood" custom.
The dogwood is a grass that is long and green. Every Dragon Boat Festival, the local people will plant one on each side of each door of their own house. Dogwood, for the peace of the gods.
Once the Dragon Boat Festival, our family came back to sanming. That day, I first saw grandpa and grandma in the cornus. I only saw the grandfather who had moved to a section of the ladder, and then the door was in front of the door, and then carefully took out one. The dogwood, worship the day, read the words in the mouth, then slowly climb up the ladder. Finally, grandpa looked for the edge of the door and waited until the crack was found. The dogwood was put in, and then came down.
In the distance, we and grandpa looked at the dogwood that we had planted in our hearts. The breeze was blowing in the breeze, and the dogwood of the door swayed gently in the breeze, as if laughing and saying, "rest assured! I will bless you all safe!"
This is one of the customs of the Dragon Boat Festival in my hometown. But, with the progress of this era, fewer and fewer people will want to be able to plug in.
