I was sad when you told me that you would go abroad. I'm going to lose a bosom friend①.
When people say that I speak English fluently, I know, I owe the praise to you.
Do you remember that English class, when we were learning the text The Necklace? The teacher asked me to act Mathilde and you to act Jeanne. I was so nervous that my voice trembled, but you spoke so naturally and nicely. How I admired you! After class, you said to me:“Don't be afraid, and don't be shy. Since then we spoke English whenever we met each other trying our best to express ourselves in English.
