环保英语作文篇1
Protecting the environment is not a temporary thing. It requires us to stick to it every day and put it into practice anytime and anywhere. As long as each of us ACTS, it will save the earth, our home.
Save electricity, protect resources, reduce pollution.
Electricity is something that every primary school student touches every day. It's something we can't live without, but it's amazing. Therefore, every move in the use of electricity should start from economy.
In our country, power generation mainly relies on coal, and the coal on earth is limited. At current consumption rates, coal will be consumed in 250 years. After that, we will leave no coal for our children.
Saving electricity means saving coal and contributing directly to reducing air pollution. Because the acid rain is caused by coal burning, it can corrode buildings strongly and acidify the soil and water, resulting in reduced food production and the death of grass and fish and shrimp. According to the calculation, the economic loss caused by acid rain in south China is only southwest, and it is worth 14 billion yuan every year.
Saving electricity can slow down the warming of the earth. Due to large amounts of coal combustion emissions of carbon dioxide, as a cover to block the heat of the ground outside sends out to the sky, and the greenhouse effect, if the earth's temperature rise, will cause drought or flood, will cause the melting ice. If all the icebergs on earth melt, countries and islands at lower altitudes will disappear.
We, who live today, are sure to enter the next century, and many of them are vulnerable to global warming. A total of 135,000 children in Germany's 192 schools have vowed to cut the greenhouse effect of their communities by 10 percent. They changed into energy-saving lamps, refused air conditioning, abandoned cars, and chose bicycles. After seven months of effort, they have reached their goal.
Twinkling of an eye, we have run into beautiful June again, it's tree planting and afforestation opportunity of the country, in order to create a good green home, protect the ecological environment, I suggest the students:
Love nature, love flowers and trees, protect and cherish animals, and carry out tree-planting activities.
We will actively promote environmental protection and bring environmental awareness to our families.
环保英语作文篇2
Environmental protection is what everyone has to do, only everyone has done environmental protection, can buy green mountain green water, can get a good living environment.
The biggest environmental problem facing humanity is white pollution. Many people use disposable chopsticks, disposable foam boxes, plastic bags and other non-degradable objects. In this case, I advocate that big plastic bags can be used as shopping bags for shopping. Minimize the use of plastic bags. Go to work at noon to eat, and try not to eat take-away lunch box in the fast-food restaurants, their best to take meal with special lunch box, spoon chopsticks bring, as far as possible need not disposable lunch box and disposable chopsticks.
In response to the white pollution, our family also made some environmental laws, as follows: used plastic bags for garbage bags; Shopping bags; Use fewer plastic bags; Try not to use disposable items like foam containers.
Recently, we went to the vegetable market to buy food, two big plastic bags, some vegetables and fruits that didn't need bags, and we tried not to use plastic bags. In spite of this, many fruits and vegetables need plastic bags, but we still save a few bags, which is a little bit of success. I think this saves a lot of plastic bags.
I say that environmental protection starts from a little bit, and we have to start from a little bit, until it becomes a big river to be successful.
环保英语作文篇3
The Low-Carbon Economic
Nowadays, with more and more serious problem such as the global increasing temperture, the melting ice and the rising sea-levering,people are recognizing the important of developing the low-carbon economic now.
There are many ways we can do to reach the loe-carbon economic.Fristly, discovering others fuels which is more clean and more green to instead of the using of carbon.Secondly, we should have the save-energy conscious and do something which we can make, for instance, using the bus ranther than car when you go out,re-use the thing that can be recycle used, reducing the use of plastic bags.Last but not least,we should plant more trees or other greenplants,in which way we can not only improve the environment, but also can make our home more beauty.
In my opnion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic is everyone must try their best do what they can do for it.Once everyone have the sence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves ,it will be earlier to reach it.
